Where in Arizona is the house located? We are looking at the Tucson area and can not believe how far down the prices have dropped for the same houses we have looked at over the last 2 years--as much as $150,000.

    Come on, details!!
    Just think....a sewing room! :)

I will keep everything crossed for you that you get the house!
it IS a sewing room. with a kitchen and bath. LOL!

you can rent out rooms to vacationing quilters and take them on tours of any nearby LQS's. after hours, conduct lessons and serve herbal tea. very zen.

WOW! What a deal! And, if it's in Sedona it's an even better deal. GOOD LUCK!

Actually it is a good sign the banks are taking awhile. They have many more loans that they are actually examing instead of just rubber stamping yes. My girlfriend said be patient. Yours will come approved.

Iknow that refinancing can take 3 months now. I have friends that have done it and I have been impatiently waiting for mine to finish up.

There always seems to be something else that the bank wants. So I know they are being picky right now. I was hoping to finish my settlement today, but now they are saying next week, and then it might be the week after, so who knows.

    Patience..........

I'm in Tucson, so I'm hoping that's where you are, and that you get this beautiful house! After you get you new sewing room organized AND I get back next winter, maybe we can get together. I'm a Snowbird about to depart for CT.

We have another friend in Tucson who is hoping to have her bid accepted on another house, and the bank is SO SLOW! I've been tempted to try to sell my house and upgrade, but I'm 2 minutes from Jo Ann's, 10 minutes from Bella's and Cathey's - so I'm spoiled. For those of you reading this who aren't from Tucson, Bella's is a wonderful LQS, & Cathey's is a fabulous Pfaff & Viking dealer that has dozens of classes.
