I think ok I have decided (key word) that I am perfect. I can sew a perfect block, a perfect runner and that its going to be a sure thing when I make the next runner. Since I have decided it it must be true. this is my new theory. Go with me on this it might be like a magic thing! tada! magically I have done it! good thing I am a believer in this. I think it might take a bit more to convince ya' all. I finished all my ufo's. yup all of them. ok have to quilt this months doll quilt but its not a ufo. lol.. its a current project. one more doll quilt and I am home free. til I partner for this swap and work on my magical quilted runner.

dinner was a marvelous success.. veal parm and pasta and broccoli with cheese and then of course fresh crepes with apple pie filling and powder sugar. Steve asked me is something wrong with him I didn't tell him yet? he felt like it was his last meal it was so good. lol.. I am so glad there was enough for dinner tomorrow. how lucky is that?

Dinner sounds delicious - the girls and I had our Ladies Stag Night out for dinner - the club wasn't serving dinner tonight so we went to a local pizza place - I had a Greek Salad w/chicken - DELICIOUS - had the best combination of olives/cucumber/tomato and feta cheese and homemade salad dressing to die for; this one I will have to learn to make at home - I'm a fan of foods with stronger more robust flavors. Taking a coffee break now from project - quilting is finished just have to attach the binding - hopefully done tonight - it's late - my machine hit a snag and needed attention - all the stitches I had done up to that point had to be taken out and started over - not a fun task.
Thank goodness I have an understanding partner that also hit a snag - she smashed her hand - I hope it's better soon and she can use it once again. I will always be not perfect - I strive to be but there will forever be room for improvement - oh fairy godmother of mine come wave your magic wand.

hey you stay away from my magic, girl! that is for ME. otherwise I might be just average which is not my first choice. heck no.. it might be a reality but its not my first choice smashed hands??? OMG that hurts just thinking about it. Poor partner!

I hate when the stitching on quilting needs to be ripped. especially on batiks they seem more fragil and easier to tear. on tops and such removing stitches not a big thing.. quilted it is a total chore. ugh for you too! hope that you figured out your machine snag so it doesn't happen again. Last time for me it was a whole big row down a big quilt eyelashed. wanted to cry. or throw it all away. did neither so beneath me lmao.

OK we have TWO more days for sign ups come one come all, if you guys know anyone who might be interested let them know we are here and happy for a few more. Its still early enough in the season to get one more project done before you do projects come on in!!!
