I can beat that. Had my eyes examined and the doctor had put drops in to dilate pupils. When I left he gave me cheap sunglasses to put on and when I went outside and put them on, told my husband I had gone blind and couldn't see. Forgot to take the paper off the inside of the glasses. Now that's stupid!!

Is this anything like the people who leave the clear wrapping on their lampshades that is suppossed to be for shipping only and removed once placed on the lamp? Umm, been there done that.

Don't feel stupid...we ALL do things like that at times...I once took my cell phone into the store because it was so 'crackly' sounding.....OOPS!!! I never removed the paper from the ear piece thingy.....see....it happens! :)

I did that to our big screen tv. Couldn't figure out why the picture was fuzzy til I was cleaning one day about a month after we got it. Husband came home and ask me what I did to the picture....had to tell him. We both had a really good laugh on that one!

I just had to share this.
My daughter was giving me such a ration this morning about the paper on my ruler.
She just went to get on her bike and instead of putting on her sunglasses she ended up putting her key in her ear. Don't ask me to explain I have no idea.
