My resolution is to participate more in the local quilt groups, such as actually attending the Saturday Sampler meetings and joining the local quilt guild. Good luck to me!!

Mine is somewhat easy, I want to be able to make a quilt a month.

With my business going through the roof I am spending more time working than I do playing in the studio. Not a bad thing but all work and no play makes for me a burned out Billy. I need to learn to take weekends off and stop working at a certain time everyday. When I add on the studio it will make it easier to separate everything.

But I do have a few UFO's to finish and they will be done this month!

    Billy

I don't really need to make a resolution for this, but what I really want is to try at least one new thing with each quilt. Be it a new block, a new technique, heck, even a new fabric or colour combo that I wouldn't normally use. The reason I don't really need a resolution for this is because I'm a fairly new quilter, so most things are pretty new to me still! LOL But that is what I want to do.

Thanks! What a compliment! (I assume since you didn't post a name to a specific commenter here that you meant me since I started the thread--if not, I'm sorry for being so bold) I actually didn't use a pattern. I just designed it myself. I found a coloring page off of the internet for the owl and just added 1/4" to all of the sides for seam allowances and then just winged it the rest of the way. I drew out the cloud and moon myself and then just made the fence posts according to the size of the blocks.

Get more organized - get rid of used and unneeded stuff - sew more

I don't work so the basic premise of my resolutions for 2011 is: Housework in the morning, sewing in the afternoon. Doncha love it?

Finish UFO's, use up lots of stash (way too much), and organize quilting stuff! Losing a few pounds also (hopefully)!
