QuiltingJaguar thank you for sharing your 911 quilts with us. That was a very difficult time for many. We would love to have you join us and make a new Patriotic Quilt. As QuiltE has said in a previous post. This Challenge does not stop with Canada Day or for American's on Fourth of July so it would be great if you joined us in the challenge.

Welcome QJaguar! ... as JenniKy hhelps inspire you to join us with another creation and one made during a little happier times. And that we'll be here long after our two countries' celebrations. Think of it as the thread that never ends! I do hope that this helps inspire you to make a new patriotic creation!

Welcome Quilting Jaguar - I hope you will join us and do another project. You do nice work.

Liz92B - I'm really looking forward to seeing how you FMQ. Will the white areas be tone on tone or solid white? Keep up the good work.

That applies to everyone. Keep up the good work. As QuiltE and I have both said many times, we will be here well after July 1 and 4. Sure hope to see continuing projects, new projects. As you saw from my etched votives, the projects don't even need to be quilted. Just show us your spirit.

Now, I like the sound of that since I haven't even found that patriotic fabric of mine. We're dealing with contractors and such for all the damage to our entire roof and water running inside peeling paint and such; during our recent wind/rain storms. Friday they begin by repairing the entire roof. Then, after the 4th we begin with them working on the inside, moving out all of our appliances, tearing out the entire flooring in the dining room and kitchen, etc. Sooooooooooooooo, glad that our home owner's policy is covering everything except for our deductible. Whew!

No fabric, quilting supplies, or my vintage machines were damaged though. I should be able to keep sewing, I hope.

not sure what you're asking... for the white areas, the fabric itself is white-on-white; the FMQ will be red.
