Fraew your fabric is adorable. I hope you like the pattern I choose. It is an old CW pattern but I thought it would look very modern with your fabric without loosing all the of the bigger print.

I'm kind of getting caught up but still have a pile, we'll see what the mail brings tomorrow.

I am hanging my head in shame here, I am about to post a very lovely block from... I lost that piece of paper. I suck. Could you please stand up (post please) here and let everyone know who you are so you can get the true credit you deserve. I love the block, heck I love them all.. like I said before one piece of fabric and so many interpretations.. so cool. Sending out some blocks tomorrow, I believe Jaba your ruby block is coming home a couple days after your berry block and Nexxus tada! did it, truly challenging as I dont care to work with solids yet I think it might hit the mark.. lots of pics received and sent for both diamonds and rubys in my folder if you want to peek.

ps Marybeth I am green with envy over this also. I want to see my granddaughter sheesh. I take back that idea. Babysit who ever heard of such a thing.. plan that nap when you get home. You will need it for sure.

ok you got me I peaked. Annaquilts you do amazing work and I have to ask.. do you sleep too? your FAST. I work with scraps also, mostly donated fabrics. I rarely get to shop for them and sometimes I look at those scraps and think when will I EVER use that... well.. I use THAT often lol. Some of my donated pieces are as big as a yard most 1/4 or smaller (like 6 inches). I cant bring myself to throw them away and when I applique they work great. Like the Henrietta squirrel one I did those tiny pieces, great scarves and pumpkins and acorn houses.. no waste with fabric. Of course I am sure we all have this problem.. I can use that for something later.. and the scrap box gets bigger and.. well its people like Annaquilts who prove scraps can have a purpose and a beautiful one at that. Morning fellow diamonds. Another lovely day in paradise here. Oh wait its going to be 90 again. Joy of all joys.
