I'm new to quilting too and have only done quilts using layer cakes, sewing the squares together and adding borders. What is the 10 minute block or some other easy patterns that I should try? Thanks.

My list is also book size. Immediate to dos are 2 baby quilts 1 for DD and 1 for DS reading tutor. I have fabric waiting to be cut for a flag quilt,OBW, I have started an applique on fleece and signed up to do the Affairs of the Heart BOM. All in good time.

I need to start a frog quilt. I just need to think up the background theme. Then I need to do a "book" quilt for a teacher. After that there is one waiting that is jet to be determined. That is not saying anything about all of the ones that I dream of doing!

Working on two quilt tops right now, have two more that will need to be done, start Santa embroidery for tree skirt for my sister, and then? there is always things going on in my head but have a hard time getting it on paper.

The top 2 entries on my list are 2 lap throws for my daughter and her fiancee. I seem to have a mental block where these are concerned and keep setting them aside. I have moved the fabric to my cutting table so I've either got to get them started or work around them. :lol:
