Wow how times have changed. I can not see that kind of advice posted on anything bought now days. Of course most of our stuff comes from China. BYW I have been looking at "made in" labels lately when I buy. Actually found a couple blouses made in the USA. But so far I have not found any fabric made in the USA except for wool from the NE. If you seen any quilting fabric actually made in the USA, please share. I did contact one company in WV who bolts fabric imported from India.

This was probably created by the same people who worked for Better Homes and Gardens WAAAAAAAAAYYYYY back when women were instructed to be sure have taken her bath and put on a fresh dress and make sure her hair and make-up was freshly applied before her husband arrived home work work. She was then to make sure to greet him at the door and never ever to bother him with any problems she might have encountered during the day, after all, he had spent a long hard day at work and needed to come home to a calm and relaxed home!

Right!
