I have gotten this email many times - once while my friend, who was supposedly stranded in England, was sitting at my machine! It is a scam. my friend said someone had hacked into her computer and got her email addresses and she had to change her email address...

Yes, several of my husband's friends got that email a couple years ago. He only knew about it when people started calling him to see if he was alright. His email account was hacked and he had to close it and open a new one. Do not respond!

We read in our local newspaper just recently about scams that are going around right now and this was one of them. So, BEWARE !!

It's a scam. You'd think by now they'd have dreamed up a new scenario - I know at least six people who "got stranded" in Scotland (none of them had ever even been to Scotland). Please don't be fooled!

It is called phishing and it is a scam, send it to spam and then empty the spam box. It could carry a dangerous virus or it could be cousin to the nigerian price scam to get you to send money.

It is a scam. Do not give this person any money. Report it. Take care.
