I seen some here for $2.75, like that was a bargain. $1.75 is my limit. I can buy material and make my own ya know.

First of all check the quality of the fabric and if it is one of the better ones I would go about $2.50 or if I wanted it real bad maybe $3.00. I don't like to mix cheap fabrics
with my better quality ones.

I think people get caught up in the auction....and I bet they're paying postage on top of that!

I restrict myself to $2.50 or less. And only as high as $2.50 for special/designer, otherwise less than $2.

I'm with you. No way -- UNLESS it was a discontinued fabric for a WIP- would I pay anywhere near that.

WOW... fabric really is going up...

Maybe some of the bidders were out of the country. I know that my girlfriend in Australia pays near to $30 a YARD! Geez!!!!

Which one are you looking for. I'm one of those people that have to have something. Now I have a number of Laurel Burch and would be willing to sell some for a reasonable price. Not what there getting on E-Bay.

I have some Kaffe Facett that is yardage, but I would never pay more than $5 for a fat quarter -- and then only if I needed it for a quilt and I ran out of fabric.

I am on the hunt for a piece of Laurel Burch, but can't see paying what is being asked.
