Yes, we have had this issue as well. Last week was really the topper tho'....my DH got an email I had sent in January of the snow in our front yard, and my sister got an email that I sent 5 months ago to tell her my surgery went well. Really? 5 and 6 months for an email to go through?!?!?!

Wow - all this is the first I've heard about troubles with Verizon. I'm not a dedicated user though. I rarely receive calls, don't text at all (had it disabled when I bought the cell phone, because I don't want to pay for someone texting me ). Main reason I have my cell is to phone DD and DGD free- and so they can phone me free - they're on Verizon. Also, so I can call DH from grocery store to ask him what I'm about to forget.

I have been told that some cell towers are owned by one company and leased to other carriers. The tower in my town was owned by a company that merged. They will not lease to a competitor. It really needs to stop. They should also get rid of roaming as many towers are available.
