:-D :-D :-D Yes, I have some games on my kindle and I like to lie in bed and play Slingo on it and I have a word serch game and mahjong on it and a couple of other word games. I have 2 more to load into it so will do that in the near future. Once in a while Amazon does offer free games and they just had a couple that I did not care for. But there are 2 in my order history that I need to load. One other good thing I like about kindle is that if you lose a book by accident,, you can go to your order history and reload them. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay

I have both the Nook black and white and the Nook color. I love the wi-fi. I have an e-card at the library (not here in FL)(check with your local library) and I can download lots of books, free. I can keep them for 2 weeks and then, if need be, I can borrow again, I can read the black and white in the sun and I have a backlight on my color Nook. Smashwords is good, but not all hat versatile

The NookColor has games and I know that they have just made a bunch more apps available and some are games. I'm not into games so can't tell you any more about them.

I have a Kindle and love it but here is a new lesson learned this week. I lost my hard drive and my back up hard drive due to major storms even though they were on a serge protector. Dumb luck. Should have had everything on CD's. Worst part is the BOM's. Oh well that's life but lesson learned the hard way.

The Kindle does allow games, but it is not the same as playing games on your iPod or cell phone. The Kindle's screen is NOT a touch screen - probably my biggest disappointment. I'm so used to my iPod... Playing games on the Kindle requires that you push the little buttons at the bottom.

Can somebody please tell me about the ebook libraries?

I downloaded the Overdrive.com yesterday - am a little confused - but anything to do with libraries seem to come back to our local which everything is "checked out" and with a long waiting list (on hold). Is there something I am not doing right? or is there another kind of Ebook Library?

Thanks so much for your help. I have a Kindle and have been downloading books from them - but the library idea has me intrigued.
