Jacquie I sent my center to you today..... Please let me know when you get it. That way I can gauge "a little" how long it takes to get to you. I will be able to time it so we can all be working on the rows at the same time. Thanks

hi andrea, to be honest i wouldn't pay any attention to 'arrival times' just now.
this is bad weather season as well as the festive season... we don't get anything quickly or at normal time rate until probably end of jan time...
but yes, i will let you know as soon as it gets here

hello ladies, only a few more days until christmas!! very exciting!!!

just letting you know that i had my 'carpal tunnel' opp' tuesday morning, it was a very sore & very emotional experience.
hand is still very sore, this has to be a sewers worst nightmare!!!
i still have my 'journal' and 'label' to make for my 'center', then i can get it into the post. it will have to wait a week or so lol...

    i asked the nurse for help with my bra when i redressing. her reply was;
"i'll be outside the curtain, i want you try and do as much for yourself..." *****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!***!!!!!!!!!!!*****
needless to say, she ended up helping me with my bra!!!!!!!
i could have bopped her one!!!!!!!

i'm doing ok now... i reduced the bandages on my right hand this morning as directed by the doc. i now have a 'boxers hand' instead of a 'caveman club' lol...

the weather is behaving itself somewhat at the moment. it's just dull and damp. i can cope with that!! no ice!! woohoo!!! how is where you are. everyone??

we're having christmas day at my parents with all our family, also col's dad & brother. col & i plan on sleeping there too.
i have 2.5 hours work on tuesday & thursday doing the 'tea time' shift, (with my home support job) then i'm off until the 11th jan.
i should be able to cope with that ;c) left handed cooking and washing up lol...

my DD2, Rachael sings with our local theatre, well... she's been invited to sing at our church tomorrow night.
my mum is in the church choir, and they would like her to start off (with Phoebe) the first verse of 'away in a manger', then we; the congregation will join in with the rest.
i bought Rachael a beautiful red dress from 'The wedding planner' where we're getting all of the dresses for the wedding, so she will look gorgeous! my mum also bought phoebe an equally gorgeous red dress, they will look beautiful together i can't wait to see they both dressed up! it's going to be lovely!!

have a wonderful time ladies!! catch u all later, love jacquie xxxxxx

i had to share this with you...

what a laugh i've had reading these posts today!!
thank you ladies!! you've made my day!!

i read the other day that another lady had watched 'it's a wonderful life' and cried at the end of it...
well, i had heard heard of this film many times over the years, but had never seen it.

i decided i just had to see this film to see what all the fuss was about, so i bought the film on itunes the other day. now, because of my PAINFULLY slow internet, (and my mac closing down all of the time, until i 'sussed' it out!!) it took me almost 2 days to load it!! ROFL... great!!!

well, i've just finished watching it, and ohhhh boy!!!!
i cried like a baby!!! DH came in JUST at that point at the end (when i was whaling!!) so i started to laugh, (as i was crying!!!) oh deary me!!!! you should have seen me!!
you should have seen HIM!!! he didn't know what was the matter with me!!! talk about confused!! LOL...

i LOVE that film!!! thank you america!!! for "it's a wonderful life"!!!!
    it surely is!!!
