Congratulations on your 10th - WOW - great grandson. My prayers are with your with him and his mother. Hope they both get well soon and that he won't be in the hospital too, too long. I have a friend who's granddaughter weighed less than that and she is still going strong at 7. God has blessed you and your family. I would ask your granddaughter which she would prefer, as there is time if she changes her mind. God bless you and your family.

I agree to ask mom what she thinks. I hope Michael and Katie get to go home soon. I love the quilt, it looks nice and cuddly.

God Bless your new, precious Great Grandson. May he grow And thrive. As to to give a new quilt or not, I think only your heart can make that decision.

Prayers are with the little one. Purple is good and there are no flowers in it so I would say is will work. Congrats.

Prayers for your 10th great grandchild and both of his parents. You have made a beautiful quilt and I'm sure when he is old enough to know that you made it for him, he will love it. Purple is a great color for boys and girls and the frogs lean towards boys. Purple is the favorite color of one of my grandsons and he is 20 years old. Do what your heart tells you because you know best.

I would wait until things settle down, then ask your granddaughter if she would prefer something a bit different. It may not even matter that much to her. anyway, congrats on the new little guy and prayers for them both.

Glad your granddaughter is doing so well. Little Michael is doing well also considering his size. My hubby and I have 6 children, 18 grandchildren and are expecting #11, #12 and #13 great grandchildren by March of 2014. Sometimes I feel we took the Bible verse, Genesis 9:7 too seriously, "As for you, be fruitful and multiply; Populate the earth abundantly and multiply in it." Thanks for the wonderful comments and prayers.

Yes, it is a great quilt for a little boy. Good luck with the new G.baby.
Always be careful with this type of quilt for a newborn because all the threads are
    a choking hazard.

Praying for baby Michael and parents and Grand parents too. The quilt is not very girly at all. You put love and probably prayers into it so why not give it to Michael. Frogs seem to be male friendly too! Praying for you all.
