February Challenge Fabric
Drum roll please.....
The February challenge fabric is a happy fabric with lots of color choices. Sort of jewel tones plus neutrals. Keep your colors limited to those in the challenge fabric. Have fun!

I apologize, I wasn't very clear. I was asked for a sneak peak of the fabric for challenge #2.
The February challenge will use challenge #2 from the book. Please see pages 14-21 for details.
February Challenge rules:
1. Limit your color palette to colors in the challenge fabric. You may use prints, stripes, tone on tones, etc.
2. Use the required block somewhere in your quilt. You are free to change the proportions and size of the block.
3. Add other blocks or units as desired. Use any construction method desired.
4. Post a photo of your project at the end of February so we can enjoy your work and learn from each other.

Hi gals!! I'm doing well on my quilt! Glad you posted the February challenge. I usually work on several projects at once, so I'll keep working on Jan while designing Feb. Can I still post pictures of January?

My January challenge quilts
Good morning,
I ended up with two projects in January. I did a very simple one for my warm hug (donation) quilt. The green flange, between the yellow and the border, helped calm down the yellow a bit.
I still had two weeks left, so I started the smaller, more creative one. I used what I call the 4S method for the pieced strip. 4S= stack, slice, shuffle and sew. I need to quilt the outer border and bind it yet.
