Well, since like Knot Sew, I am a library person...I really can't justify the cost of buying the reader. If we still travelled a lot, yes...but thats not to say I won't get one. I think the up side for me would be the ability to get the books that I actually want to read, when I want to read them. Our library is very small, but not too bad for what it is. Its just that there isn't much of a budget for buying books and I have to wait..and wait...and wait. Sometimes, I end up buying the book, reading it, then donating it to the library!

Sure beats the Kindle price of $259 :D Of course if the Sony is not as good as the Kindle, then I guess it would be a wasted $200

Do you think the prices will come down after Christmas???

Amazon has reduced the price of the kindle twice since I purchased mine. My husbands kindle is way cheaper than mine. There is always a chance of price reductions as the competition gets greater.

Wouldn't that be cool -- to have someone READ to you while you're doing what you love to do? Talk about a win-win :D

I would assume that the prices may come down. I paid $359 for mine, and now they are $250.
