I don't believe they are right. I do some small quilts too ( my smallest is 61/2 square and I either hang them on the wall or use them on side tables. So I think you are correct not them.

My husband prefers the large quilts, but i love the little quilts, they warm the heart not the body!

These little quilts are just beautiful. There is a lot more work in all of these little pieces. I made some for my granddaughters when they were small, so I know it is just as time consuming. Thank's for sharing.

I disagree with them. Wall quilts are just as much a piece of art as large ones. Just on a different scale.

Those are some of the most beautiful, beautiful quilts (YES QUILTS) I've ever seen. What detail. Amazing!

Sounds like we have another guild that's made up of quilt police!

Your little quilts are wonderful! To heck with the guild!

Jaye-Lee, your wall quilts are exquisite. Did you use a pattern? If so, what is it called? Thank you for sharing.

PS: you know once I was in a quilt group and I made a present for one of the members. Since I was new to quilting and didn't really care for needle turned applique, I fused the applique to the gift. The receiver of the gift took one look at it and said, "well, that's not real applique'.

It is not the way I would treat that person if I were more advanced than she was and she gave me a gift. It was time to move on to a different group.

Your little quilts are beautiful. I cannot imagine working with such tiny pieces. Find another Guild!
