I just love watching this quilt grow. I have been saving scraps, too, to start an S & C quilt. I now have at least one friend that saves them for me.I was waiting until I had plenty to mix up, but I think I'll just have to dig in. Darn, I wish I could stay home this weekend and sew!

They are all so beautiful. I almost started something like this once, but never had the courage to actually do it. You inspire me. Great job!

I thought I was the only one who did this. I have several blocks sewn like those pictured. Thank you for making me feel like I'm not alone:)

Uh oh! Now I'm going to have to learn to upload photos, too? Okay, but it might be a while. Thanks for the encouragement.

Amazing thread...love being able to see this burst of creative energy from beginning to wherever it leads. Some great pics/quilts. Rosy, this piece is going to be a total winner....love the ladders and the colour combinations.

I really admire you folks who can do the scraps and crumbs like this. I use scraps, but find I am very regimented when positioning fabric. I have a hard time thinking assymetrical whether I'm working within the block or within the quilt, and yet I could see the meandering "streets" in the quilt blocks. Even setting up table displays I tend to be symmetrical. Guess I'm not an unbalanced person! LOL
