You will feel better if you finish it. One way to get good idea is to view it thru a door visor. You can buy one at the hardware store. I use it to preview fabric and see how they melt together. Good luck

Hi Ivaughan, I like your quilt top! But since you don't, I played around with it and came up with a couple dofferent colors you might use to lessen all the rust color around the center block, would something like this help?

I haven't made a Warm Wishes yet, but I sure plan to, this is giving me a peek into the process and possible things I may encounter.
I just might put strips between rows or something so my corners don't become rectangles. Dunno, just playing around in my head ;)

I think that if it is a quilt for someone else I would truck along. Are you just being too critical or expecting it to be perfect because it is for your MIL? I hope your MIL is one who appreciates the hard work that goes into a quilt, if she is not then if you really don't like it then ;ut it away and buy her a gift.
