What do you do when you are not quilting?

I do embrodery, and am working on a Grandmother's flower garden quilt to mimick the one I have from my grandmother. I read, and the only "yarn" work I do is make Kitchen Dish cloths. My 90 year old mom is selling the dish rags today at her "Craft show" at the "home". She get lots of pre order for these and it just cracks me up. BUT, my grandson 23 months and my granddaughter 4 months seem to be taking up a lot of my time recently. I love it.....Blessing to you all.

I belong to a number of yahoo fabric postcard groups, creating PCs for swapping with members all over the world. But I have been a bit burned out recently, preferring to work on my quilting which had been put on the back burner for way too long.
Now that Christmas is fast approaching I would like to make fabric PCs for family and friends because they are overlooked during the year, making me feel quilting about making PCs for so many other people and not them.
I also want to make some 'Mug Rugs', table runners and place mats for gifts.
Recently found that I enjoy listening to books on CD while sitting at my sewing machine or cleaning my sewing room. Having the TV on was too distracting. And I'm too tired at night to actually sit and read a book, and feel too guilty during the day to sit and read. So this has been the perfect solution. AND I've found that I've enjoyed books on CD that I just could not get into when trying to read them.
I do spend way too much time on the computer!

Apart from my part-time day job (sitting at the computer and thinking about quilt designs, fabrics etc,) I like reading (Lesley Pearse books) and doing jigsaw puzzles (mostly quilting ones) Occasionally DH wants my attention so I spare some time for him :) oh and check on the adult children every now and again to see if they are doing okay.

I volunteer two days a week at our local food pantry. Try to get in my walk every day, outdoor work and daily housework. Rest of time I am either cutting, piecing, quilting or thinking about some part of quilting.
