Is there going to be another swap? These are so much fun. I just love them.

Oh how lucky am I!! I had Twinkie for a swap partner and she sent me the cutest Mr. and Mrs. Santa pincushions with beaded pins in each. Very clever, glad my camera is straightened out so I can add a picture. Thank You Twinkie, Happy Holidays to you all

Great idea Twinkie! I will have to look around my house for things like those. Darling pincushions. :-D

Ms. Shawn & SewnSew: I will try to get your pincushions to the post office on Friday or Saturday. Roads are icy here. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

    :-D

So cute Twinkie! What a neat idea to use the Santas for pincushions and your pins are so nice did you make them yourself?

Pictures retreived successfully. Aren't they darling? Liz is so talented. Thank You!!

Pin cushion, scissor holder, sachet and candies minus a couple that my DH had to have before picture was taken LOL

Yes, they are so easy to make. I use the decorative long pins with the colored (Pearlized, yellow or white) heads. Just pick out your colored bead (I prefer the star beads because they look like flowers). Place the pin thru the hole and just before the bead meets the head of the pin, drop a dab of hot glue. This keeps the shaft of the pin from being covered with glue. Then pull the pin tight with the bead. And Wahlah, you have a decorated pin.

Thanks Twinkie for giving the pin tute. I have tons of beads as a few years ago I was into making leather mitts and moccasins with beaded designs. Now I know what to use some of these beads for!
