I had a similiar experience years ago that thank goodness happened over the telephone. Everyday, my husband would call me at home from his office and we would chat lovingly for a few minutes. Well, one day the phone rang and thinking it was my husband, I sweetly told him I had loved our frisky play the night before. I panicked and quickly hung up the phone when I soon realized I was talking to a stranger who wanted to join me in some play some time. Thank goodness *69 had not been invented yet. I was afraid he would call back. My husband told me I should be more careful to make sure it was him in the future. I can laugh about it now that I am older and wiser.

Okay, since everyone else is ratting themselves out, I'll fess up too.

I wanted to make one of those spiral table runners but I couldn't find the rulers. I'd called several lqss and was getting desperate. Finally I called Threads of Time in Danville, Il. and when the co-owner, Bill, answered the phone I identified myself and blurted out, "Bill, do you have wedgies?" During the long pause that followed I realized what I'd said and my face was burning. I said, "Rulers! rulers! Those wedge rulers!" He laughed and said, "Well, I kind of thought that might be what you were talking about."
It was pretty hard to look him in the eye when I went it to purchase them.
