I made a long roll to go across my shoulders and hang down on both sides of my chest. I filled it with rice and that was 15 years ago. Still works fine; just warm for no more than 2 minutes in the microwave (you don't want popped rice) and then wrap in a thin towel. Good Luck

Make sure if you give as gifts you micro wave after making. My daughter made some for gifts with corn last yr for xmas presents and she gave two to a friend and they only used one at the time and put the other in the closet. After a yr went by they had weavals every where and paid for in exterminator and they still did not know where they were coming from and finally found the one bag full of bugs. this was in Calif. I put all my corn in the freezer for a few days before I used it to kill the larva. Good luck.
We call them Ackie Breakies. They came out in AZ about the same time as the song and dance. Ackie breakie heart.

Just reading the first page, so maybe someone else posted this, but the smell from a corn bag doesn't really last that long. I've been using one I made 5 or so years ago as a bed warmer and love it. I've made several for gifts and just explained the popcorn smell will leave after a few uses :)
