Just curious, how many more swappers are you still waiting for? I think I speak for all of us when I say the anticipation is running high

A few more to send in their blocks. I am sure they will send them in by deadline, they are signed up. I am sure they have been working hard to finish them up. We are all counting on them, and we want one of them..... Seems you are very organized with the list you have above.

We started this swap before Halloween, certainly long enough to get them done without too much of life getting in the way. Thinking positive thoughts for all those rushing to mail them to our wonderful host!
hugs,
dj

lol I don't know djmat, Life certainly has had a way of getting in my way this past year with things I had planned !
With all the tests, MRI, ctscan all kinds of Dr visits, the sciatic pain and muscle spasms that make it I can't sit for too long a time and shots for back that didn't work, holidays, weather, deaths in the family, And just last week learning my husband has kidney cancer, Yeah life can and does take over of all the fun and wonderful things we plan out lol.
Besides my wonderful churn dashers even if Maxie had them all in hand today, we still wouldn't get them for a bit, I can't even imagine the time it will take her to sort and distribute all those lovely beautiful blocks!!!
I can't remember the exact date she posted for when we should be getting our blocks ( guess I could go look ) but somewhere in my mind it's not until valentines or after...... I remember it that way because I was thinking what a wonderful love gift to be getting from my online QB friends.
Ok I'm off to plan more Dr visits and my quilt for when I do get blocks , oh yeah and maybe tackle all those UFO's hanging around
Have a Blessed and Glorious day everyone....huggsss

marietta, I am sorry you are facing these challenges but I so appreciate your wonderful words. Yes, I started making crumb blocks early and learning to make them precisely as directed. Some were acceptable but others ...... well, let's just say they're not bad enough for a wonky quilt but definitely would not stand up to the scrutiny of experienced quilters. Maybe that's why I am a scrappy quilter where fudging is the normal. Yes, I did finish 20 + 1 that should make somebody else's quilt beautiful. Yes, I am working up to the deadline. Yes, I did it! .... and am happy with the results.

Yes Life definitely can take us down long winding roads. If I hadn’t started early there would have been no way I could have kept this commitment.
