What an amazing find and something to be cherished. My Mom made utilitarian quilts and none have survived 5 brothers and 2 sisters growing up on a farm in SD. Other relatives quilted, however, I was not lucky to get one of those - probably why I decided to quilt - so I can leave behind a legacy, so I won't be forgotten.

It's an absolutely gorgeous treasure for you. Not sure what the pattern may be, maybe it was one of your grandmother's own. It is beautifully done and you are so lucky to have it!!
