I agree, it's so nice to see what others do before making mine. It is an advantage in a way, as you say.

Sewbizgirl you have two more beautiful blocks done. They are addictive. The blocks are all like little gems, and each one so unique and beautiful. I like how we can draw from scraps and the new pretties too.

I believe Ava is my 19th finished FWn30's block, so I'm about 20% into it.

They are fun! You are getting quite a pile made, Morganfam. Unfortunately, mine are still in a pile, too. I really need to put them together.

Only part of mine are in a pile. I starting setting some, then didn't like the color I was using-- so some need to be seam ripped. I wish they were all in a pile. lol

I did the same thing, Givio. I put together a whole row with yellow sashing that I thought I'd love and now I'm taking it apart. Maybe it should just be white. Morganfam, your blocks are turning out really great. Love your fabrics.

Hi Katybob! Long time, no see... I got some 1930ish mint green cotton to use for sashings. Don't know if I will or not, tho.

Hi SBG. I think mint green should be fine, but take it from someone who's been there done that and don't sew too many together if you might change your mind. And I added a "frame" to quite a few blocks that didn't quite make 6 1/2". Oh, well -- I still loved the process. I'm joining you guys with the Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt. Can't resist mysteries and sew-alongs.

Oh, yay! It's going to be fun. My favorite part is seeing the quilt take shape out of all the different combos of fabrics that others are using. So great to be 'networking'!
