That is a beautiful quilt and a wonderful tribute to your Mom. Welcome to the Board from a native Ptowner and congratulations on your marriage and new found friend!

I know you are glad to have the quilt finished. It is so beautiful. The quilting is so pretty too. Enjoy it and it's a great reminder of your love for your Mom.

What a wonderful thougth. My mother passed away about three years ago and I wish I had done something like that for her. Of course, it it would not have been as pretty as yours. But that wouldn't have mattered because I know she would thought that was the most beautiful thing she had. You gave a thougt I have sister that has cancer, I see her so down somethimes it breaks my heart. I think I'll get a quilt started just for her. That's life, I Thank God for everything........... :-D

Meema,
When you finish the quilt for your sister, whom I hope beats her cancer. Why not make a quilt in Honor of your Mom. Use colors that she loved and maybe fabrics with the flowers she liked. That way whenever you see or touch it you can fondly remember her.
Just a thought,
Best wishes,
Faith :XD:

Your quilt is very pretty and a credit to you and your new friend at work. I love and echo the moving sentiments shared by all here - keep smiling and enjoy your memories as you snuggle up with her.
