What a thoughtful gesture. Who cares if it matches, KEEP IT.

Make it into a lap quilt so you can have it near you often.

I think you should definitely keep it. When DH is thoughtful enough and cares enough to give you a beautiful gift like that, he really needs to know that you care enough about him to keep it. So what if it doesn't match anything else, who cares, there are a lot of things that don't match but are beautiful just the same,it is thought and love that went into getting that beautiful panel. That's like pics. and things that my children made when they were small, they didn't match but I definitely kept them and displayed them. I still have most of them, many are put away now, grown children, but I still cherish them. Glad you are feeling better and so was DH to get you something hoping it would make your day. Please don't hurt his feelings by giving it up to someone else. If you don't keep it, he may not get anything again.

This is the kind of gift that doesn't have to match. You need to keep it for the memories. Would be a wonderful addition to ANY sewing room.

Please keep it and don't give it away/ What a thoughtful hubby and he would be so pleased when you quilt it, etc.

Don't give it as a gift. You should keep it and everytime you look at it, it will remind you of the beautiful moment and person who gave that to you from a loving heart.

Please keep it! He loved you enough to purchase it for you so you can show him how much you love him by hanging it in your home. Very thoughtful husband!

How could you not keep it? I'd be blown away if my husband ever bought me anything at all. He's just not in to that.
But he's a good housekeeper/dishwasher. Guess I'll keep him. lol
