I would give the gifts anyway. And then star working on things you want to make for yourself or for another chairty, it's their loss...Some one needs to show them what Christmas is all about and you can set the example for sure, good work, hugs

I would go ahead and give the gifts you worked so hard making just for them, and don't worry about what anyone else thinks.

Give the gifts to the ones you had in mind while you were making them.

    Good Morning,

Absolutely give your gifts. Made with love and given with love.

As for the White Elephant game:

    1) It is only one part of the party!

    2) Is this the game where you can pick a new wrapped gift from the pile OR take someone else's gift that you like. This goes on until all the gifts are taken. We used to call it 'A Chinese Auction'.

Forgot to say Love your tooth pillows!
It is a lot of fun!
    Enjoy! Merry Christmas.

Yes, I would give them the gifts anyway. Don't stoop to her level. The gifts will be appreciated by those who get them.

    You did good!

I would give them anyway. Say you work in advance and a change of plans after Thanksgiving was just too late.

This happened to me this year --- we are giving food to the food bank...so I am still giving them their gifts plus food.

For what it is worth , here's what I'd do. I would take my white elephant along with all of my other gifts. After the exchange, I'd get my gifts for each person and I'd give them too them. I'd explain that even though they had changed their plans after I had worked so hard on their gifts that I still wanted each one to have the special gifts I had made for them. That way, you'll go home feeling good about yourself and I imagine they will be a little bit ashamed of themselves.

Well...do the grab bag thing but go ahead and give your gifts to their intended recipients. That is exactly what I would do. The adults in DH's family do not exchange gifts...but I still give a little something to my sis-in-law. You have worked very hard...so give.
