MiraB ... all the same the rain can go away, to let you have some sunshine bright! Constant rain? or just drizzly miserable stuff? The stand is just wire ... and collapses flat. They sell different header ornaments, but I won;t be doing that. Might even take the top off and let it be naked! Or join me ... and just do a themed block each month, to hang on the wall somewhere.

    Likewise for Everyone!

QuiltE the rain is fine and misty one minute then we will have a torrential downpour where I can't see the house across the road then it will be steady for a while and then the cycle will begin again, I can usually hear the rain coming across the rooftops. It is a late start to our wet season but the cane farmers will be happy..

Is this your quilt stand, I hope the link works???
A mini quilt every month would be fun as each month means something different to everyone..

Glad those snowflakes are fake, but they sure are pretty.
Putting together my hexagon presentation for Monday night. Back to "work"--the fun kind.

And the Cyclones won today!!! Melvin Ejim (a Canuck!) scored 48 points a College Big 12 record of most points scored in a game. No not a ball hog. He had a hot hand and his teammates gave him every opportunity to score. Also 18 rebounds. They are a team who play "together".

MiraB ... BINGO!! I'd say you found the same one! Price is pretty good too, being that they are including your postage. I think I paid $25 or so for mine and that was in the store. Rain Rain Go Away! ... and how long is the rainy season (usually)? ........ Yea for the cane farmers!

OKSGlad ... yea for Melvin! We've had quite a few boys go south ... top pick this year was from this part of the world! Yes, those flakes would make mighty big piles if they were all that big IRL! Are we going to get to see your hexie presentation?

More quilting done and if all goes well, should be able to finish it tomorrow. Though have some other interruptions that will have to be done ... baking and laundry! I think the FMQ might take priority! Wonder why?

QuiltE the wet season is usually from November through to March/April so can still get a lot of rain, our average annual rainfall is around 50 inches (don't fall off your chair) with around 140 days of rain.

I just might have to spend some money

Living so close to the hospital I hear all the sirens and about 2 hours ago 2 ambulances went flying down the road, lights and sirens blaring, which means Code 1 over here, and then I heard the CareFlight helicopter. Took a pic of it leaving the hospital heading for the main hospital in Townsville. Will have to listen to the news tonight to see if there was an accident on the highway. I hope everyone was ok..

Good morning, ladies. Just spent a while getting caught up on everyone. My goodness--you are all so busy and productive. So many pretty projects going on. Not much sewing going on here-maybe today because it's snowing AGAIN! Have I mentioned I hate snow?

I have most of my MB's QAYG and can't wait to put them all together. The blocks are awesome and they're going to make such a nice quilt.

QNS, I'm sorry for all the problems you're having with DJ. I'm not totally committed to DJ but have made a few blocks just to try them. I enlarged mine to finish at 5 1/2". Would that be a more comfortable size for you? Would your kitted fabric be enough to enlarge them? One thing I did learn, the hard way, was to do the practice lessons in the book. The steps to printing & enlarging are different from EQ7 and this is important. I with they would have made it just as an add-on to EQ, not a separate entity. At least do the first few lessons in the book and go from there.

Enjoy your day today, I look forward to seeing more intriguing projects when I get a chance to catch up with yinz. Do something you love today!

MiraB ... looks like your heli has just crashed into that tree!! It's never good to hear sirens. I jump when I hear them fly past my home and it's can be a threesome (police, fire, ambulance) as I am close enough to their dispatch points, and on a county road, that it often is their travel pattern. As for rain ... we get about about 37" per year, including snow. A little trivia for ye the non-snow-knowledgeable one .... it takes ten inches of snow to equal one inch of rain!

JanRN ... enjoy your day today, before you are back to the salt mines tomorrow! WTG with all your MBs WAYG'd and ready for the final one!
