SBG, your package arrived safely.

I found a darling turtle print today. I might have to go get some for the next Boom. Some child will love a quilt made from these little guys. This small piece will be used in my scrappy quilt.

Thanks for telling me. Ive been watching its progress. There is something in the package for you too, so open it up!

The turtles are adorable. Most turtle fabrics these days feature sea turtles, not this kind, so you found a rarity! Love how their shells look like quilts.

I spent the morning at the dr.'s office, waiting to be seen as a walk-in. Turns out the source of my misery is Walking Pneumonia! Hubby and I both got RSV or something from the grandkids in Memphis this last time. My dr. explained to me that the new hormone blocker they put me on (to keep further breast cancer away) is probably the culprit, as it weakens my immunity. So I came away with two big shots in my hip, and four new prescriptions to start. I hope they work fast!

She said I probably won't sleep tonight because one of the shots was a steroid, but I said, "Oh! I'll get some quilts finished." LOL.

Sorry to hear you’ve been under the weather. Kids are human Petri dishes full of everything you don’t want to catch. Glad you’ll be on the mend soon. Experienced the temporary insomnia with a recent steroid shot in my hip as well. Great quilting evening but I crashed the following day and napped well. Feel better soon!

Tomorrow is our day with our grand. Last week I missed it due to my trip so I’m looking forward to seeing her.

Good to know what may happen due to steroid insomnia! I like naps. Have a great time with your granddaughter, Janice.

SBG, hope you are feeling better soon. My surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, so I am hoping to be feeling better once this gall bladder is out. No stones or sludge, but my gall bladder is overactive.

I am loving all the blocks. Thank you to everyone who has made one for me.

I pray for peace, with regards to the surgery, and perfect outcomes. I hope this surgery will make you feel so much better than you have been!

Love the new blocks, Hav. The spiraling squares block is kind of amazing. It looks exactly like vertigo! I think I shall henceforth call that design, Vertigo Block.
