Mine is such a mess too and I have to much to do to go out and clean it. I am thinking of bringing my machine in the dining room. to sew also..

Can't do the messy thing. I get very uptight if I am in a lot of clutter, be it my sewing room or the house.

There has to be a balance betwen the two. I have to have things at my fingertips and sometimes find really interesting combinations laying together that just landed there. Certain things have to be organized like the tools- I hate looking for a marker, ruler, scissors etc- That's why I have gone to bright colored tools and have at least 2 of each

I get nervous when things are to messey. If I need to do more than one projest I keep each one in a differet places so I don't get them up mixed. Then clean up my space, then go to next one. I well have 2 or 3 things going at one time.

I like your attitude...I am too old to worry about much and enjoy doing things I like and cleaning is not it. You go girl.

I don't like mine messy but it IS. I'll get it looking pretty decent but then I can't find anything no matter how hard I try to be organized. I put things in 'safe places' which I think I'll remember but don't. I categorize etc and I am still clueless.
