Katybob, love your darling blocks! Looks like you didn't have any trouble with the Hsts.

Katybob...Your blocks are adorable. I love the repros for this. Mine, though, are from my scrap bin.
I am making my HST's a bit bigger, then trimming them to 1.5. They look so perfect until I put the whole block together. That's where the trouble is somehow. The block should measure 4.5....right?

Thanks, Beebonnet and mawluv and QltrSue! Most of the repros are from my scrap bin, but (of course!) I bought more. I just measured the basket blocks again to be sure, and they're 4.5. But I also measured the bowties, and they're 3.5. Hmmm -- wonder how they're going to be put together.

Since I have no idea yet what the layout will be I went ahead and made 32 of the bopwties and 18 of the bitty baskets because once on a roll I don't want to go back later and make more. I'm curious about the layout as well. Yep...lots of seams in those baskets. I, also, checked each HST and each single block to make sure they were 1 1/2" and 2 1/2" respectively before putting the basket together and took scant 1/4" seams but can see that when I add some of them to the next blocks that some of the little HST points will disappear. But since it's for my own enjoyment I can live with it...LOL

Logically speaking, I would think that this would be a row quilt since the blocks are not the same size. But sometimes my logic is off kilter! A row quilt is what I'm working toward anyway.

Katybob, those little blocks are so pretty. Love the fabric you chose. Did you use the same fabric for the January blocks?

Thanks, Sue. I used some of the same fabric and some that I added to the collection since the January blocks.

Hi Everyone, I don't know how I missed ALL about the "Bitty Blocks." I found it yesterday and decided to do a scrappy. I've never done a row quilt before and these blocks look so cute, I couldn't pass it up. I'm getting a late start but have gotten 20 bowties completed today. I want mine to be larger than a lap quilt so I'm making more than the suggested amount
    All the pictures are great!!
