    Wow! Everyone’s creations are gorgeous. My feet and back are about to start screaming at me so I guess I’m done for the day. I did make good progress on quilting my temp quilt though. Here’s a picture of the progress.

    Cloudy Day sampler top is done. Although it certainly doesn't look like a cloudy day but a day full of sunshine. This will be given to the church as a prayer quilt once I get it quilted and bound.

    Wow, what beautiful completed and WIP quilt projects. All of them.

    I’m making some progress. I’ve completed the sewing on all of my small pieces for my BHMQ. Later tonight I’m going to iron and start squaring the pieces. Hopefully I’ll start putting the blocks together tomorrow. And refigure out how many more pieces I will need. I’ll do a basic EQ-8 layout. Just to use as a measurement pattern. Time to cook dinner.

    This group is having a very productive weekend! I love seeing what everyone is working on.

    I have the star border on my halo quilt. Next is two narrow borders and then the curved paper pieced one. It's going to be a lot of work, but it's the border that made me decide to do this pattern.

    My goodness! There is so much incrediblybeautiful work getting accomplished this VQW. Unexpected happenings have kept me away from the machine all day, but I should have the afternoon free to get something done. Now that I've had my fill of inspiration, I'm off to sandwich a UFO.

    Wow! Everyone's work is beautiful. Rob, I love yours! And GranniesG I really like the blue and white.

    Today in between giving dog baths, doing laundry and shuttling the dog with back problems in and out to potty, I finished the blocks for up this top. Now I just have to decide if I'm going to put borders on it or not and get some backing at the LQS next Saturday when they have their quarterly open house and 25% off sale.

    thank all of you for posting your pictures! First beginner quilt class went well--31 enrolled but due to weather or ?? only 20 showed--but were we busy! almost all got at least 2 rail fence blocks finished--a couple had such wonky 1/4" seams that we walked them through the ways to correct and one decided to re-do at home but was feeling confident.

    I came home and intended to send a thank you email to my 3 co-teachers to thank them and work up 2 hrs later with my lap top on my lap! thank goodness for my DH and his ability to cook.
