So, Cimarron. When are the grandkids suppose to come to stay? I bet you can't wait. I would absolutely love it if my grandkids, any of them, could come and stay with me for a week or 2. Mine all live in Texas, Wyoming, and Nebraska.
Don't get to see them much.

Go to the library and check out a book on how to make paper airplanes. Give them some paper and let them make a few of them then have an airplane flying exhibition. Kids of all ages can make them. The little ones many need some help. They can color them with colored pencils. They get to be creative and active.

When my 5 yo ggd stayed with me we got out some cement stepping stones and those glass flat marbles and she glued the glass to the stone and she made one for me and one for her and Mom. Mine is outside in the flowerbed where she put it and hers in setting the hall at ther house. Mine has been rained on and it stays together just fine. We used craft glue and I was afraid it might come apart, but it hasn't and beleive me we have had some rain lately.

At least you are centrally located...not too terrible in any direction. Better than opposite coasts, or international.

Gang is working out logistics this weekend, they are supposed to notify when the bunch will arrive by end of this weekend.

I did try origami with them a time or two...similar. I've got a couple books on it around here. Did check out some beginning ones on that too. Thanks for jogging my memory. 6yr old LOVES the colors, and the little foamies, cutouts. Also always have color sheets, books available....in addition.

Wanting to pickup some permanent fabric glue for the Tee decorating. Have lots of sparkles, paint, braid, trim, etc.
    Bought some plaster of paris.

Might get some cement to make paving stoves. Let them put decorations, etc. in before cures...if they want to do this. I did get some plaster of paris...for handprints for their mom or something. It's good for lots of projects...not weatherproof though of course. THANKS!

Several years ago I had my great grands over for a tea party. I told the girls to dress up special with gloves and I had decorated a straw hat for each of them.
So the one great grand son was not left out he was "Garson" the waiter. They had more fun and are still remembering it.

I posted directions for how to make a paper box and a bug catcher or it can be a fortune teller.

I learned to make the paper box from a coworker who was from Pakistan. She said when she was a girl they made them when they camped and let the smoke carry the paper boxes up in the air.
