I don't think anyone has mentioned "I am Sam" with Sean Penn.

I really liked Ishtar too; we may be the only 2 on the planet. My son groans every time I say I liked it. I also liked the Bodyguard (even though I can't stand Costner)
I think Ishtar is hilarious. One of the best "songwriter" comedies of all time.

I love all the old musicals.
Anything Hitchcock, love Something about Harry (can't remember title exactly)

Very most favorites, watch anytime, and do

To Kill A Mockingbird, saw it at theater when I was 8 when it first came out and it scared me to death because of the scene where Scout is in the ham costume. Now just love the character Gregory Peck plays.

Silverado, I love westerns but this is a bonafide favorite

Almost anything with Cary Grant

And speaking of bonafide, O, Brother Where Art Thou?

All the Bourne movies.

All of Studio Ghibli movies in Japanese, not the American dubbed versions

Renaissance Man

River Wild

I'll never get tired of My Fair Lady! Must've seen it 50 times, but still enjoy it. Miss Potter is another favorite. Did'nt want to see it at first, thought it is something to do with Harry Potter, but what a pleasant surprise! You should see it. After that I appreciate the Beatrix Potter materials even more!

My Fair Lady is one of my all-time favorite movies. I haven't been able to watch it since my Dad died though b/c we enjoyed it so much together. And we played the soundtrack for years!! One of my kids bought the DVD for me. I will when the time is right. We also loved "Gigi" and one night it was on TV and the tears started streaming right away. That's a wonderful musical too.
One funny thing about My Fair Lady- my Dad was upset that they cast Audrey Hepburn instead of Julie Andrews (who did the stage version and the soundtrack) He brought it up every time we watched it LOL I thought Audrey Hepburn was fabulous in it .......
