To Aliceg: I love Sunbonnet Sue! I have lots of books showing her and Sam or Bill. I'd love to make one for myself--maybe this year-who knows. So many projects and so little time. I did a great deal of sewing on Christmas Day. Such a good feeling!
I'd love to see your embroidered Sunbonnet and Fred.

Tomorrow...now that the hectic holiday is over. Have a couple of rag quilts started for my great nephews and will finish those by Feb 1st for their birthdays. Also since our family has decided to longer 'gift' each other, I am going to make some practical items such as hot pads and such for mementos for next Christmas.

I never stop. I have a large inventory of items "in the works" so it is an ongoing process. Most projects were started with a specific person in mind for Christmas gifts, but I also have several that will be ready for sale the beginning of November, 2011.

I always plan on starting early. This year I accumulated everything to make totes for all the women on my list. Never got around to it until December and then got too busy to finish even one. So, maybe next year they'll get totes. But at least I do start thinking about Christmas early. Maybe next year I'll plan on Christmas runners for everyone and they'll get them for Christmas 2012... or 2013... or eventually.

Iwould use it as a wall hanging,by the time the gifts are around the tree you do not really get to see the skirt all that much.Enjoy your hard work without the hole.Amazing Grace. In the middle of a blizzard in So.Vt.I'm still making christmas cookie to give to a few more friends so quilting will start Tues.
