the heat is making just about everyone wilt. it was 111 here today. a newscaster cooked a steak in a car today in this heat just to show how hot it it.
He could have at least given it to someone to eat. I'm available

the dashboard temp in the car was 151 degrees. the steak was cooked med rare and dried out and did not look appetizing at all. so much for st. louis' heat & humidity.

Is it too early to start cutting for a end of Summer or Fall swap?

Sounds like a good idea to me. The sooner you start, they sooner you are done.

It's much easier to do it when you have time than wait until something else comes up, which it always does!

it can never be to early to start cutting all of those small squares. 1000 a pop for me.

while cutting them has done wonders for my scrap stash, i find i am now accumulating a "stamp" stash. yikes.

At least they don't take up as much space. What do you keep them in?

Spent last night in Mt. Vernon on our way to Springfield for 2 weeks, then Sedalia for the state fair. And yes, it is hot here, but not like south Texas and Georgia.

Hey gang - I mailed everything out yesterday except for two swappers who I have to make envelopes for. Mariposa and I have been discussing her taking on the fall swap. With what I have on my plate I know I can't handle the fall. She will let you in on the details.
