Do you keep your machines unplugged when not in use? And is a surge protector really enough?

I keep mine plugged in all the time. Don't even have a surge protector. Maybe I should.

I unplug when I'm finished. I do need to get a surge protector for it though.

I have been unplugging right now, but the weather we have all been having lately makes me worried. Storms just pop up so quickly. Our machines cost a lot of money. So I guess I will be on the hunt for a good surge protector.

Mine are plugged in all the time and I keep wanting to go to get some surge protectors, but always slips my mind. I will make a note and keep it with my purse for the next time I am out running errands. Surge protectors do work. Saved our big screen TV. Our neighbors didn't have one and they ended up having to buy a new TV, so................ Thanks for the reminder.

Please get a GOOD surge protector...not just a little $6.99 one...
we had a power surge last summer that fried my surge protector, but saved all of my machines and this computer. I have a computer protector...about the size of a shoe box. It is under $100, and well worth the money.
