Seattle, Wa is called the Emerald City and the Space Needle, Microsoft and Boeing, for starters. Of course, we're also known for rain and clouds (have lots of those lately) :( We are also home of the largest octopus in the world! The Pike Place Market is a big tourist attraction, too. There are too many other places and activities to go into, but these few are the "biggies" around here.
Mustn't forget the Mariers, Seahawks, and UW Huskies

My hometown is Howard, South Dakota and had been known as the "Pheasant Capital of the World". I do not hunt, but it's a big deal there, with people from all over the U.S. coming to hunt.

We're known as one of the Real Western Towns ( a cowboy town). We have the largest herd of Big Horn Sheep that winter here in the lower 48 States. We have beautiful bad lands, mountains, river, and every kind of wildlife. There are a number of Dude Ranches and we're not far from Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. Bobcaygeon, Ontario (Indian word for " 3 Islands") as town has lots of water around. Where gov started to build the "Trent Canal System" which cuts off 300 miles of boat travel thru the Great Lakes for personal crafts up to 110 ft. Boats are lifted 6 ft.--also close to Worlds Highest Lift Lock.
Bobcaygeon is Lock #32 of 45 --don't want to be long but we go for groceries/restaurants by boating on Pidgeon Lake in good weather with access to 6 other lakes.
