Been a while since I've been to Mary Jo's -- planning a trip on Tuesday. It will be interesting to see if her prices have gone up. She's usually VERY reasonable and it is just a FUN trip to make!

Me, too! not much of a stash here and certainly not one that coordinates; buying a lil bit each month for each project is how I'm going to have to do it. I hate that!
Texas cotton accounts for approximately 40 percent of the supply in the US market. With the draught here, farmers have abandoned the fields. Look for cotton prices to really go up.

The price you quote is pretty high -- I have seen some of the high prices here too. Ever since Joanns was bought by that investment house because they were going bankrupt, the prices have been going up and the quality down. I am glad I have a big stash and can do a lot of shopping in it.

Thanks for the link to Whittles. Added to my favorites. I'm so sick of Joann's and their scammy coupon deals. Their fabric is not great quality either.

Yesterday at the quilt show I noticed a big increase in fabrics. Almost all the prices for a yard were 9-10 per. Even threads have increased in price :(

I buy a lot from https://www.fabric.com.]https://www.fabric.com. Their prices other than Walmart, seem to be consistently lower than LQS or Joann's. I only shop Joann's with 50% off coupons.

You might also try www.thousandsofbolts.com. Most of their fabrics are in $4-$5 per yard and are parts of past collections. The Kona solids prices can't be beat.
