These are cool. There is another type of seam ripper too that I love to use and I don't do any of the work. It is the gillette electric (actually battery operated) eyebrow epilator I think it's what it is called. I have had it for so long I don't even have the packing. I bought it at Walgreens when my friend showed us how they work. It is a thin silver colored item that cost approximately $10.00. I wish I knew how to send pics and I would send everyone one. It is great for those of us who have problems with our fingers or hands.

X-ACTO knife for me. I learned using razor blades too. The kind without the 'safe' edge. Then went to the 'safe' edged ones. I have a small black plastic ribbed cover that fits over the 'safe' edge for easy gripping. No idea where I got that from. But my favorite is the X-ACTO knife. It is comfortable to hold onto and my fingers or hand never cramp no matter how much ripping I am doing.

I just don't understand why everyone wants an extra tool to rip seams when one already has one in their sewing area. It's the rotary cutter! Any size will work although the smaller the better.

Eleanor Burns does it this same way but uses her rotary cutter. Quick and easy and very nearly foolproof!

Gotta find a way to the dollar store! That looks like a neat tool. Thanks!
