We could start a binding lovers club! Its the last little bit of love, hand sewn into the quilt. The kiss before parting!

I like to hand sew the bindings on my quilts also. I find it very relaxing. It's a great way to unwind after a day of work, especially with a nice glass of wine at my side. LOL

Binding are something I can do while watching TV or visiting with my family and friends. I always try to have some kind of hand project to do at those times. Bindings are great for this.

I KNOW that I'm wierd, and enjoy that label. LOL. Doing the binding process is like putting on the perfect jewelry for an outfit. Also, hand stitching the back is great movie watching work. Have noticed that sometimes I have enjoyed making the quilt so much, I don't want to stop working on it. More times than not, I piece the binding as a design element.

I belong to the "Weird for Binding Club"! I use french/double binding, sewing it on the front, press it to the back then stitch in the ditch with matching thread to the fabric. Like this look!
