this seems backwards....

What Ebay did was to change their policy about where the fees come from. Sellers figured out (immorally) since EBay charges them a fee based on the selling price, that if they charged a low fee for the item but high shipping they would be able to avoid paying their full fee's and get the same money anyway.

This seems like one of those sellers...

very early post bed machine. I would Love to have had the resources available when this came up...

In most cases Post bed machines like this are chainstitchers. Usually for gloves and the like.

This one looks like a 46K1

From ISMACS ""Piqué" stitch (two-thread, double-chain stitch). Combined top-feed and vibrating presser. 5 3/4" clear to right of needle. Speed 700spm. Narrow "post bed" for stitching fingers of gloves."
