Good question, I think of it as one finish since they are small and coordinate.

Neat quilting - I have yet to try ruler work but it does intrigue me. Is this one going into your show as well?

Oh Canada, not difficult just a little time consuming with folding and measuring. Look up petite points

thanks OhCanada. Yes it will be in the show. It's the biggest piece at a little over 45" square-ish. Ruler work is a lot of fun. Give it a try, it's also a useful tool for Fmq ditching--I never would have been able to ditch all those seams in the crumbs without using a ruler no way to do it using a stitch in the ditch foot since there are too many seams and would have meant turning the quilt a lot. Using the ruler allowed me to Fmq the ditching without having to turn the quilt.

Rryder, I love the quilting you've done on this, esp around the circles. Neat idea. Congrats on your new UFO finish! Toot Toot

Leta, congratulations on your beautiful, colorful finish! Toot, Toot! Love the quilting. Lucky, lucky grandchild.

For your viewing pleasure, I hereby announce my first finish for March... the Rainbow Lonestar!!!

Since this is about 60" square, this will be my new grand-daughter's "lovely"... when she gets here in April. I think this is just small enough that she will be able to drag it anywhere.
However, I'm really disappointed with my outer border - I measured and measured and it STILL went wonky on me!! Which is why I'm going to tell my daughter - let this be her lovely, that she can drag around - because this is not good enough to be "special".
Maybe the "embroidered animals" will be her "special" quilt.

Leta

Time to update us for March. As of this evening, we've had 15 finishes for the month of March. Toot Toots go to OhCanada, CarrieM, Rryder, Jaba, SweetwaterQuilter, Kristakz, TravelingGramma and Letawellman for getting this month going and keeping the UFO train rolling! Great job.

Leta - WOW!!! Just pretend it is supposed to be a ruffled border for a little girl. It has too much work in it to be dragged around.

Rainbow lone star...baggy borders...that's because of such intense quilting in center...fabric was " pulled in". And because no quilting in sash and wide border...the end result is wavy....can you take off the binding and do some quilting in those blank spaces to balance it out? That would be the solution...... Much to much work in it to leave it this way...
