Oh my gosh Jan -- my mother made this for special weekend breakfasts, She'd cook the corn-meal with half the water so it was really stiff and left it sit in a loaf pan in the frig. With it was fried green tomatoes, bacon, kidneys and eggs. It was a fabulous treat. I need to go cook some cornmeal right now and make fried mush for breakfast tomorrow! With my

The reason she dipped in in flour was just so it dried the outside a bit and it browned easier. We ate fried green tomatoes but not with the mush. Love them both! She also used flour with the green tomatoes. Can't recall if she/we dipped the tomatoes in egg first, but I think so. Dad made Scrapple, which is basically mush with shreaded leftover meat in it. I only have self rising corn meal baking mix in the house now, or I'd go make some too! Think of me when you have breakfast tomorrow! lol

News Flash! Good Morning Everybody. I awoke this morning, turned on the news and guess what... The announcer said somebody had spotted a mystery train a few miles away. It was reported the train was moving at a fast rate of speed, pulling flatbed cars that appeared to be stacked with boxes of sewing machines and fabric! Said if it continues at its current speed, and in the same direction, it should arrive in my area in 3 days! It was also reported that a woman was driving the train. Could the conductor be Judy???? I'll stay tuned and let you know if I hear any more about it.

The mystery train is licensed under Santa's Delivery System, so our train will be able to cover the entire world on Saturday morning. Don't bother watching the sky for the train, we travel under a cloak of invisibility. Be patient, it won't take more than 3 or 4 hours to get everyone on board!

It is a platform number that does not exist on a station. It is like the platform in the Harry Potter books.
