Joan, I think you said you have your second eye surgery in a few weeks but how is the first one doing? Big improvement I hope!

I thought I felt a little something earlier, but it wasn't big enough to be obvious, if it was that at all (earthquake) I finished the binding on last year's BH mystery quilt tonight, wooo hooo completely finished.

I havent sewn since the surgery. I tried one day but with one good eye and the left still needing glasses it was hard to do. Ill be SO glad to have the left eye done on the 15th! The hardest part of the entire surgery is the eyesight until you get the 2nd one done, esp with driving. Remarkable difference in the right eye! Thanks for asking!

Wow Kass - you have been busy. Beautiful. You have an eye for color and I am envious!!
We are in Florida. Settling in. I have more unfinished projects than ever. The only thing I had to start was a baby quilt and then need to finish something before starting something else. (but I love the planning and starting!!)

This post is all about bragging!!!! I finished the binding on the BH mystery quilt from last year and this is the first time all my mitered corners turned out perfectly on one quilt! I read an article that said to fold the corners so the machine foot was pushing them together as you sewed up to it and this is the results!!!!
