My daughter asked me to make blocks for a quilt for her father in law for Christmas. These blocks quickly became ones I don't like. So I procrastinated, made one here and there in between working on other things. Now I'm under the gun, I have the first two rows together, have the third row almost done and two more rows after that to go. Then I have to put the borders on, sandwich and quilt it by the end of next week! Talk about pressure!! LOL

    Here is row 1 & 2. :)

They are very pretty blocks. Why don't you like them? Are they a pain to piece?

Well I hate to say it.. knowing how you feel about it, but... it does look GREAT ! Isn't it sad that we can never say that N_ word, especially to our children and family

Shadow, I think it's just lovely. I understand why you are not liking it, but your efforts will not go unnoticed. Lovely work. Can't wait to see it finished.

It is a beautiful quilt...I can understand not liking that many pieces per block though

It looks beautiful. The edges of the pieces almost look pinked. Is that an optical (camera) illusion?

That is a LOT of pieces per block! But I'll bet you work great under pressure, and I know you'll get it done in time. This would be a fabulous Christmas quilt--are you sure you don't want to make another one for me????
