Happy Passover! Happy Easter! Celebrating with just DH and my mom tomorrow - but I think we have enough for an army. We are having absolutely beautiful clear weather in 70's so I can walk off some of the goodies. Miss having a house filled with kids and family though, but maybe another time!

Happy Easter everyone, I’m having dinner here for my sons family and my other daughter in law which is here in Florida visiting. We’ll be starting to Wyoming next weekend and really taking our time to avoid the snow. Probably it will still come after we get home.......hopefully not too much. We’re planning to stay 1 night in Paducah so I can have my fabric fix.

Thank you so much! I love this block!

time for bed and hopefully I’ll dream about what to do for Kassaundra’s fabric. I always have trouble with the flower fabric. This block would might for that.

I have an idea for the butterfly fabric and my husband drew it up. It won’t take too much fabric and if I screw it up I’d have enough to make a different block.

Will have to finish up this weekend. I’m doing taxes and quilt blocks this weekend.

Happy Easter all. It’s a balmy 12 degrees here but yeah the sun is shing bright. Our celebration will also be small, one dd and her family. We were up late last night and up very early for sunrise service, glad we did most of the food prep last night.

Happy Easter! Terri, love your system of spraying all charity quilts in the garage at one time w/ risers. I will definitly do that, or at least put the table on the patio. I know I shouldn’t, but I spray ‘carefully’ in my sewing room. I have a nice cutting table at the perfect height. I used to spray on the tile entry way floor. That’s tough on my back!

I will finish my blocks up this week.

Exciting news... for the first time in 2 generations, the Stewart Family will have a girl. My granddaughter is due September 6, 2018. We are all in shock. After 17 boys, there will be a girl.

I didn't get to sew at all this weekend. In fact closed the machine up in the cabinet for lst time in about 2 years! Didn't want the grandkids getting into it. This is what kept me occupied all weekend. 6 grands and 5 great grands. I'm exhausted! As you can tell my youngest grandson is the smarty one in the front.. He has two cousins older and 3 younger than he is that are "greats" They were so much fun!! But I'm glad I can sleep alone tonight! LOL Plus we got ice/snow/rain combined overnight.. Only about 2 inches but it was darn cold for Easter!!

What a fine group of youngsters, Joan! I know you had a ball with them. (Know what you mean about sleeping alone. LOL There's a reason why God gives little ones to young people.)

Hav4boys, congrats on the girl! I just know she will be one pampered little girl. No hand-me-downs for her!
