I didn't, and I did't have the "pinwheel" in the middle unless the bottom four were "inside out". Instead of redoing it, I just took them apart and resewed them with the seams going to the other side!

I took the other suggestions and here is the latest (I haven't sewn the bottom left one together yet) ...

Looks awesome! You might consider placing the blocks from small to large from the center starting point. The center being the furthest distance in the vortex, hence the tiny blocks...then work them to the outer edge by size. Just a thought.

OK! I took all of the suggestions, and did some more re arranging! Teen you were right! I totally forgot about that aspect when I was rearranging
One thing I am noticing ... the black border has white bubbles in it, and it isn't really showing up very well in the pics. But in real life LOL you can definitely tell that there's a border!
